大家都知道，以前Godaddy为任一注册的域名提供10G的免费共享空间——每月300G流量，Linux和Windows任选，10个MySQL数据库。因为有广告的存在，一般都是将它作为图床使用。在《VIP外链相册，同样不值得使用》里面讲了相关的图床程序。

从2011年1月14日开始，Godaddy新注册域名不再提供免费共享空间，改为用他们的Website tonight的instantpage service代替。

This is due to a recent change we made in our product offerings and any domain names registered after 01/14/2011 will no longer come with a free shared hosting account and the free hosting services were replaced with the InstantPage service. If you want to use a standard hosting account for this domain name you will need to purchase and setup a paid hosting account using the information below.

Website tonight的instantpage service说白了就是可视化自助建站。这个东西只是不需要自己搭建建站程序，直接提供可视化的网站设计和编辑，相当于微软Office Live Small Business的升级版（Office Live Small Business有500MB的免费版）。但是比Godaddy自身的标准收费空间差了老远，性价比更是完全没有。

新注册域名附送一个月的免费Website tonight，最好是自己删除掉。因为到期后会自动续费的。最少一个月也需要$4.99,信用卡绑定是直接自动扣费，标准的一个陷阱。

Godaddy依然提供免费的相册空间——GoDaddy Free Photo Album。
1000Mb空间容量，25000Mb流量，支持外链，但是速度在国内就没有意义了。
同样强制广告，顶部和底部都有大大的Godaddy的广告。
需要更多空间和流量，去广告就需要付费了。
