虽然已经换用了Windows 7和Windows 8（微软故意将很多新特性和软件不支持XP），还是喜欢和习惯XP。尤其是自己用nlite精简制作的Windows XP，至今用的也比Windows 7，Windows 8畅快。整整5年，nlite的作者突然宣布回归，并发布nLite 1.4.9.2。

nlite，简单的说就是一套提供安全精简和集合Windows XP的软件工具。网络上不少所谓的Windows XP精简版都有nlite的痕迹。当然，nlite的精简不是完全纯净，在nlite修改过的文件中都会留下“by nlite”的痕迹。
